Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start from the main town in Muchinga Province, either from Chinsali or Nakonde. From Chinsali, take the T2 road heading east towards Nakonde. After approximately 45 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Chishimba Falls. There will be a left turn onto a gravel road after you pass the village of Chishimba. Drive carefully along this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the falls. Note that there may be a small entrance fee, typically around ZMW 20-50 per person.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transport, catch a minibus from Chinsali to Nakonde. Make sure to tell the driver to drop you off at the turnoff for Chishimba Falls. This journey should take about an hour. Once you are dropped off, you can either walk (approximately 10 kilometers) or hire a local taxi to take you the remaining distance to the falls. The taxi fare should be negotiated in advance, and expect to pay around ZMW 50-100 depending on your bargaining skills.
