Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the capital of North-Western Province, Solwezi. Head south on the T5 highway towards the town of Kasempa. The drive will take approximately 2 hours (about 150 km). From Kasempa, continue southeast until you reach the junction leading to the T4 highway. Take the T4 highway towards the town of Chinsali. After about 100 km, you'll arrive at Chinsali. From Chinsali, follow the signs to Kalambo Falls, which is about 45 km to the east. The road conditions may vary, so be prepared for some rough patches. Make sure to refuel in Chinsali, as services may be limited closer to the falls.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Solwezi to Kasempa. Buses leave frequently and the fare is usually around ZMW 50. Once in Kasempa, you'll need to catch a bus heading to Chinsali. The fare for this leg is approximately ZMW 70. After reaching Chinsali, look for local transport options (such as shared taxis or minivans) heading towards Kalambo Falls. The fare for this last part is about ZMW 30. Be sure to check the schedule for return trips, as they may not run frequently.
