Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Chimpempe from the nearest major town, Kasama. The drive takes approximately 2 hours. From Kasama, take the T2 road heading south. After about 40 km, turn onto the road that leads to Chimpempe. Follow the signs to Lumangwe Falls. The last segment of the journey is on a dirt road, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. After about 10 km on this road, you will reach Lumangwe Falls.

Public Bus
To reach Lumangwe Falls via public transportation, take a bus from Kasama to Chimpempe. Buses leave regularly from the Kasama bus station and the fare is approximately ZMW 30. The journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Chimpempe, you can hire a local taxi or arrange for a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to take you the remaining 10 km to Lumangwe Falls. Expect to pay around ZMW 50 for the motorcycle taxi.
