    Starting from the center of Solwezi, head east on Independence Avenue. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Lumwana Road. Turn left onto Lumwana Road and walk for approximately 500 meters. You will see signs directing you towards Kansanshi Mine. Continue straight on Lumwana Road for another 1 kilometer until you reach a major roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Kansanshi Road. Walk along Kansanshi Road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several local shops and small eateries. As you approach the mine, you will notice a large gate, which is the Boom gate of Kansanshi Mine. The entrance is on your right, identifiable by the security checkpoint.

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Solwezi market area. Ride west on Independence Avenue for about 1 kilometer. Turn left onto Lumwana Road and continue for 1 kilometer. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Kansanshi Road. Cycle along Kansanshi Road for approximately 2 kilometers. Pay attention to the local traffic and pedestrians. The Boom gate will be on your right side, marked by a security checkpoint.
