Getting There

Car
If you're driving from the town of Masvingo, take the A4 highway heading towards Bulawayo. After approximately 65 kilometers, turn right onto the Khami Road (B2). Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Khami Ruins. Make sure to have cash on hand for the entrance fee, which is approximately $5 per person.

Public Transportation
From Masvingo, you can take a shared taxi (kombie) heading towards Bulawayo. Ask the driver to drop you off at the intersection with Khami Road (B2). From there, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you the remaining 15 kilometers to the Khami Ruins entrance. Make sure to confirm the fare with the taxi driver before getting in.

If you're already near Khami Ruins and want to walk, follow Khami Road (B2) from the nearest town or village. The walk can take approximately 2-3 hours depending on your starting point, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
