From the center of Masvingo, head to the main bus terminal located at the intersection of Fourth Street and Robert Mugabe Way. Look for a bus heading to either 'Chiredzi' or 'Beitbridge', both of which pass near Lake Mutirikwi. Make sure to inform the bus conductor that you wish to get off at the Mutirikwi turn-off. The fare should be around 5-10 Zimbabwean dollars. The journey takes about 45 minutes to an hour.

Once you arrive at the Mutirikwi turn-off, you will need to walk approximately 4 kilometers to Lake Mutirikwi. Follow the dirt road that leads into the park.
