Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe. Take the A5 highway towards Mutare. After approximately 100 km, take the exit toward Murehwa/Birchwood. Continue on this road for about 40 km until you reach the town of Murehwa. From Murehwa, continue south on the B4 road, which will take you through scenic rural areas of Mashonaland East. After about 20 km, you will reach the outskirts of the Matobo National Park. Follow the signs to Bambata Cave, which is located within the park. There may be a small entrance fee for the park, usually around $5 per person.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Harare to Murehwa. Buses leave regularly from the main bus terminal in Harare. The journey takes about 2 hours.
