Car
If you're traveling by car, begin your journey in the town of Kariba. Head southeast on the A5 highway towards the town of Nyamhunga. After about 30 kilometers, you will come to the junction for the B61 road. Turn right onto B61 and continue for approximately 50 kilometers. You will reach the entrance to Tashinga Camp, which is a popular rest stop and tourist attraction near Lake Kariba. Please note that the road may have some gravel sections, so a vehicle with decent ground clearance is recommended.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Harare to Kariba. Buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in Harare and the journey will take around 4-5 hours. Upon reaching Kariba, you may need to hire a taxi or a local minibus to take you to Tashinga Camp.
