Walking
Start at the Masvingo City Centre. Head east on Robert Mugabe Way towards the intersection with Mbuya Nehanda Street. Continue walking until you reach the main bus terminus, known as the Masvingo Bus Rank. From there, look for a local minibus taxi heading to the Waterfalls Mangwandi area. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are going to the Waterfalls Mangwandi resettlement area. The fare should be reasonable, typically around 1-2 USD. Once you arrive at Waterfalls Mangwandi, disembark at the nearest stop and ask locals for directions to Copota Shakashe Dam Wall, which is about a 15-20 minute walk from there, heading towards the 1 RCZ Farm area. The locals will be familiar with the dam wall, so don't hesitate to ask for guidance.
Bicycle
If you're renting a bicycle in Masvingo, start at the City Centre and cycle east on Robert Mugabe Way. After approximately 2 km, turn left onto the road leading towards Waterfalls Mangwandi. Continue cycling straight for about 5 km until you reach the junction for 1 RCZ Farm. Watch for local signs directing you to the Copota Shakashe Dam Wall. The area is relatively safe for cycling, but stay alert for pedestrians and vehicles.
