Turn left onto Main Street and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass local shops and cafes along the way. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the entrance of the Great Zimbabwe National Monument. This is a key landmark, and you can take a moment to enjoy the view of the monument.
Walking
At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road leading towards the Great Zimbabwe ruins. Continue along this road for about 2 kilometers. Walking
After about 1 kilometer, look for a dirt path on your right that leads towards Lake Shakashe. This path may be less maintained but is used by locals. Follow this path, which will take you through some vegetation and may have some rocky sections. After approximately 1 kilometer on this path, you should start to see the lake appear in the distance.
