From the center of Masvingo, head to the main bus terminal located at the intersection of Fourth Street and Robert Mugabe Way. Look for a bus heading to either 'Chiredzi' or 'Beitbridge', both of which pass near Lake Mutirikwi. Make sure to inform the bus conductor that you wish to get off at the Mutirikwi turn-off. The fare should be around 5-10 Zimbabwean dollars. The journey takes about 45 minutes to an hour.

Once you arrive at the Mutirikwi turn-off, you will need to walk approximately 4 kilometers to Lake Mutirikwi. Follow the dirt road that leads into the park. Keep an eye out for any signs indicating the way to the lake. It can be helpful to ask locals for directions as well, as they can provide the most recent information on the best paths to take.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local shops in Masvingo. After obtaining your bike, head towards the main bus terminal and follow the same directions as above. The ride to the Mutirikwi turn-off is approximately 8 kilometers, which should take around 30-40 minutes. From the turn-off, you can cycle the remaining 4 kilometers to the lake. Ensure you have a map or GPS for navigation.
