To use public transportation, find a local commuter omnibus (commonly referred to as 'kombis') heading towards Hillside or Bulawayo East. Board the kombi at one of the main taxi ranks in Bulawayo. Inform the driver that you are going to Hillside. Once you arrive at the Hillside area, ask the conductor to drop you off near Percy Avenue. From there, walk along Percy Avenue until you reach number 6. The kombi fare should be around $1-$2 USD, but confirm the current rate before boarding.
