From the Midlands region, start by driving towards Harare. Take the A5 highway northbound. After approximately 130 km, you will reach the junction near Marondera. Continue following the A5 until you reach the town of Mutare. From Mutare, take the Bvumba Road towards the border of Mozambique. After about 50 km, look for signs directing you to the Mana Pools National Park. The park entrance is approximately 40 km from the main road, and you will need to pay an entrance fee of around $10 per person.
Public Transportation
To reach Mana Pools National Park via public transportation, start from Gweru in the Midlands region. Take a bus to Harare, which typically costs around $10. From Harare, you can catch another bus to Kariba for about $15. Once in Kariba, you will need to arrange for a transfer or a taxi to take you to Mana Pools National Park, which is about 60 km away.
