Walking
Start your journey from the Nyanga National Park entrance, where you'll find a well-marked trail. Begin walking on the main path heading east. Continue along the trail for about 3 kilometers, enjoying the natural scenery. Look for signs directing you towards Mtarazi Falls. After approximately 45 minutes of walking, you will reach a fork in the trail. Take the left path, which leads you directly to Mtarazi Falls Viewpoint.
Hiking
From the Nyanga Resort, head towards the Nyanga National Park. Follow the hiking trail that leads to Mtarazi Falls. This trail is about 4 kilometers long and may take around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to carry enough water and wear appropriate hiking shoes. Along the way, you will pass through beautiful landscapes. Keep an eye out for trail markers that will guide you to the viewpoint.
Public Transport and Walking
Take a local taxi or public transport from Nyanga town to the Nyanga National Park entrance. Once you arrive, follow the walking trail eastward for about 3 kilometers. Upon reaching a fork in the trail, take the left path which leads you towards Mtarazi Falls Viewpoint. The total walking time from the park entrance will be approximately 45 minutes.
