Voringsfoss

Vøringsfossen is one of Norway’s most famous waterfalls, located in Hardangervidda plateau in Vestland county. With a dramatic drop of 182 meters (597 feet), including a free fall of 145 meters (476 feet), Vøringsfossen is renowned for its breathtaking beauty and powerful cascade into the rugged canyon below. Easily accessible from the main road (Route 7), it is a popular tourist attraction, offering spectacular viewpoints and a scenic bridge that allows visitors to experience the waterfall up close. Vøringsfossen is a must-visit destination for nature lovers exploring the Hardanger region.

Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall

The waterfall is one of the most visited tourist sites in Norway. From the parking lot, the path goes along the waterfall, up a hill, and behind it where visitors can walk dryshod "into" the rumbling water. Steinsdalsfossen is 46 metres (151 ft) high, with a main drop of 20 metres, and has the greatest volume when the snow melts in May and June.

Latefossen Waterfall

The 165-metre (541 ft) tall waterfall is unique and thus it is a well-known tourist attraction in the area. It is special in that it consists of two separate streams flowing down from the lake Lotevatnet, and as they fall, they join in the middle of the waterfall.
