    Of course the isle of Skye is incredibly beautiful but I don't recommend visiting with this company. They did not deliver on their tour at all. The guide didn't even show up and it is impossible to get in contact with the company. I felt ripped off having paid 100 pounds to take a bus. The selling point for me was the company boasting having a "team of expert tour guides and professional Green Badge guides are hand-picked for their historical knowledge and passion for our world famous Scottish scenery. They’ll appeal to kids and grown-ups alike and will try their best to make you feel comfortable and entertained."

    We struggles with tour right from the start. If I only reviewed the bus driver/tour guide I would give him a 5 star rating. He was great! The person that took our calls did not direct us properly where the bus would pick us up. We had never been to Inverness before. We were directed to the wrong pick up spot even after we called 3 times. It was very stressful. Lucky they were delayed and we were very early. They had a bus breakdown and so we were on a bus that I suppose would not have been used for this particular tour. The seats were very uncomfortable. The bus had no toilet and it was an all day trip. There were frequent stops. Sometimes difficult to hear the directions clearly. So, the stress before actually getting on the bus and the seats brought down the rating quite a bit. On the other hand, the guide was amazing and very knowledgeable . We had great weather and really enjoyed what we saw.

    We had a wonderful day tour to Isle of Skye from Inverness with Claire as driver and guide. It is a rather long drive, but all went smoothly and with good time for the stops during the day. The weather was perfect and the mountains on Skye were extremely beautiful with the blue sky as background. The only negative thing came from the nature as the Fairy pools were much smaller than on the internet photos. However, the place is definitely worth a visit due to the very beautiful nature. The tour was booked two months in advance. The evening before our trip I read the latest reviews from May. We did not experience any of these negative events.

    The trip way amazing to say the least. Our guide definitely had lots of experience which made the trip run smoothly. We were able to take amazing pictures while avoiding large crowds. Would certainly recommend taking this tour with Barry as your guide.

    Barry the tour guide was full of character and made the long winding drive more pleasant. There was enough time to enjoy each of the stops and we even made a few extra stops along the way! Each location was picturesque and worth the day long drive.

    Black Cuillin

    Once on the Isle of Skye we make our way up the east coast of the island. Take in the stunning views of the Red and Black Cuillin mountains, and the islands of Scalpay and Raasay as we head south west through many small villages, down single track roads towards the Fairy Pools.

    Walk in the shadow of the Cuillin Mountains, with the supernaturals through fairy-sized landscapes and their most famous baths, the Fairy Pools. The pools are located in one of the most dramatic landscapes on Skye. The fairies regularly bathe here, in the crystal clear green pools of the River Brittle. Weather permitting, you can swim in the pools of the river, one of the UK’s best wild swimming spots. Have fun diving under natural arches and waterfalls, but please do not spy on the fairies, as they can easily take offence!

    Talisker Distillery

    Talisker distillery based in Carbost was the only whiskey distillery on the Isle of Skye, the whiskey is a single malt Scotch, with a very distinctive Peaty-smoky taste. We shall go through the Visitor Centre and if available sample one of the fine whiskys produced here.

    We will spend some time in the tiny harbour town of Portree, the capital of the Isle of Skye with its brightly coloured buildings beside a picturesque harbour, the name of the town of Portree commemorates the visit of King James the V in 1540, records have it that it was originally called Portray and was believed to have been inhabited as far back as the Mesolithic period.
