    I was on the cruise ship and we stopped at Kom Ombo temple. The double temple for Sobek and Horus is unique. Experience arriving by boat and walking up the stairs felt adventurous. Admission fee was included in the cruise ticket. Length of visit was one hour only. Atmosphere was hot but interesting because of the crocodile museum. Crowd size was medium with other cruise groups. Staff guide explained the medical instruments carved on the wall. Best for people who like weird temples and crocodile mummies. I saw a real crocodile mummy behind glass and it still had teeth. Our guide said the ancient Egyptians prayed to Sobek for protection from floods. That night I dreamed of crocodiles swimming in the Nile.

    We finished the ten days in Egypt and Jordan and sat in the Amman airport. The experience of looking back at all the photos made me emotional. Admission fee for the whole trip was about 2500 dollars per person including flights. Length of the entire journey was ten days but felt like a month in a good way. Atmosphere at the airport was tired and happy. Crowd size was busy with many tourists going home. Staff at the check in wished us a safe flight and asked about our favorite site. Best for anyone who wants two countries in one trip without rushing too much. I told my wife that I would never forget the sound of the call to prayer in Cairo. She said she would never forget the donkey that tried to eat her sandwich in Petra. We both laughed and agreed to come back

    We were on the cruise ship and the night entertainment was a belly dancer. She was good but the music was too loud. Experience sitting on the lower deck with cold beer was relaxing. Admission fee for the show was free with the cruise. Length of visit for the show was one hour. Atmosphere was fun and silly with tourists clapping. Crowd size was about forty people most were drunk. Staff including the dancer tried to pull people up to dance. Best for people who like cheesy but fun nights. My friend went up and danced like a fool. The crowd cheered and he got a free drink. Later we laughed about it in our cabin. That night we slept with the window open and heard the river.

    We took a horse carriage in Luxor to the market. The experience was bumpy and the horse looked tired. Admission fee was 5 dollars for the ride. Length of visit to the market was one hour. Atmosphere was loud with sellers shouting spices prices. Crowd size was packed with locals and tourists mixed. Staff horse driver tried to take us to his friend's shop but we refused. Best for shoppers who like to bargain hard. I bought a small scarab for one dollar and the seller pretended to be angry. He chased me for two steps then laughed. Later I gave the scarab to my nephew and he loved it. The horse carriage ride back was quiet under the stars.

    I did the horseback riding at the Giza pyramids early morning. The horse was calm and the guide held the rope. Experience watching the sunrise behind the pyramids from horseback was worth the early wake up. Admission fee was 40 dollars for one hour. Length of visit was one hour around the back side of the pyramids. Atmosphere was quiet and cold but warmed up fast. Crowd size was only me and three other riders. Staff guide was a young guy named Ali who grew up near the pyramids. Best for horse lovers and early risers. My horse sneezed right when the sun came up and I laughed. Ali said the horse was saying good morning to Ra. We rode to a spot where you can see all nine pyramids. I sat on the horse and felt like a pharaoh for a minute.
