Kathmandu

After checking in and taking some rest, you can explore the nearby areas like Thamel, one of the most popular tourist hubs in Kathmandu. You can enjoy a relaxing walk, explore local shops, or buy any last-minute trekking gear and essentials. In the evening, you can meet with our team to discuss your Manaslu Circuit Trek, learn more about the route, and make sure you are fully prepared for the journey ahead.
After breakfast, we begin our scenic drive from Kathmandu towards Machha Khola, the starting point of the Manaslu Circuit Trek. The journey takes us through beautiful countryside landscapes, green hills, terraced fields, dense sal forests, and charming local villages. As we follow the Budhi Gandaki River, you will enjoy views of waterfalls, mountain streams, and peaceful hillside settlements along the way. The road includes some winding sections with a mix of gentle climbs and descents. After a long but beautiful drive, we reach Machha Khola, a quiet riverside village where we will spend the night and prepare for the trekking adventure ahead.
Jagat
Today is the first day of our Manaslu Circuit Trek. After breakfast, we begin our walk from Machha Khola, following the beautiful Budhi Gandaki River through a peaceful Himalayan landscape. The trail takes us through narrow gorges, green forests, and several suspension bridges while passing small villages along the way. We will also walk through Tatopani, a natural hot spring area where you can take a short break and enjoy the surroundings. Continuing our journey, we reach Jagat, a beautiful stone-paved village and the official entry point of the restricted Manaslu region. We will spend the night at a local lodge, enjoying the warm hospitality of the mountain community.
Namrung
After breakfast, we continue our trek from Jagat towards Deng. The trail gradually climbs through beautiful terraced farmlands, pine forests, and peaceful mountain landscapes. Along the way, we pass through traditional villages such as Philim and Ekle Bhatti, where you can experience the simple lifestyle of local mountain communities. As we move deeper into the Manaslu region, the surroundings become more remote, and the influence of Tibetan culture becomes more visible through the villages, traditions, and way of life. After a scenic walk, we reach Deng, a quiet Himalayan village where we will spend the night at a local teahouse and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the mountains.
Namrung
Today, we continue our journey deeper into the Manaslu region as we trek from Deng to Namrung. The trail takes us through beautiful forests, peaceful streams, and gradually rising mountain paths. As we gain altitude, the landscape begins to change, and the first views of the magnificent Himalayan peaks start to appear. The natural beauty of the region becomes even more impressive with every step. We reach Namrung, a charming mountain village known for its Tibetan-style culture, traditional stone houses, and warm local hospitality. We will spend the night at a local teahouse, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and mountain atmosphere.
Today, we continue our trek from Namrung to the beautiful village of Lho. The trail gradually climbs through scenic mountain landscapes, offering amazing views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. As we walk higher, we enjoy panoramic views of Ganesh Himal, Himalchuli, and other snow-covered mountains. Along the way, we pass through traditional villages, ancient mani walls, and small Buddhist monasteries that reflect the rich Tibetan influence of the Manaslu region. After a peaceful walk, we arrive at Lho, a charming traditional village located beneath stunning snow-capped peaks. We will spend the night at a local teahouse, enjoying the warm hospitality and beautiful mountain views.
After breakfast, we continue our trek from Lho to Sama Gaun. Today's trail offers some of the best mountain views on the Manaslu Circuit Trek. As we walk through beautiful forests and open valleys, the scenery becomes more spectacular with every step. Near Shyala Village, you will enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Manaslu and the surrounding snow-covered peaks. The peaceful landscape and fresh mountain air make today's walk truly memorable. By afternoon, we arrive at Sama Gaun, one of the most beautiful villages in the Manaslu region. Surrounded by glaciers, high mountains, and traditional Tibetan culture, it is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful Himalayan atmosphere. We will spend the night at a local teahouse.
Today is an important acclimatization day to help your body adjust to the higher altitude before continuing the trek. Staying active with a short hike is the best way to prepare for the days ahead. You can choose to visit Birendra Lake, Pungyen Gompa, or hike towards Manaslu Base Camp (4,800m) if you are feeling fit. These side trips offer stunning mountain views, beautiful glaciers, and a chance to experience the local Buddhist culture. After exploring the area, return to Sama Gaun for a relaxing evening. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, rest well, and prepare for the higher elevations on the next stage of your Manaslu Circuit Trek.
Samdo
After breakfast, we leave Sama Gaun and continue our trek towards Samdo. Today's walk is shorter, giving you more time to adjust to the higher altitude while enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery. The trail passes through open valleys, alpine meadows, and high-altitude grazing lands with amazing views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. The peaceful landscape makes today's trek relaxing and enjoyable. By afternoon, we arrive at Samdo, a traditional village with a strong Tibetan influence, located close to the Nepal–Tibet border. We will spend the night at a local teahouse, enjoying the quiet mountain atmosphere and preparing for the next stage of the trek.
After breakfast, we begin our gradual climb from Samdo to Dharmasala, also known as Larkya Phedi. Although today's trek is short, it is important to walk slowly and let your body adjust to the higher altitude. As we gain elevation, the landscape becomes more rugged with rocky trails, open alpine valleys, and fewer trees. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the peaceful high-altitude scenery. By afternoon, we reach Dharmasala, the last stop before crossing the famous Larkya La Pass. We will spend the night at a simple mountain teahouse, rest well, and prepare for the most challenging and rewarding day of the trek.
Larkya La Pass
Today is the most challenging and rewarding day of the Manaslu Circuit Trek. We start early in the morning and make a steady climb towards the famous Larkya La Pass, the highest point of the trek. From the top of the pass, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Himlung Himal, Larkya Peak, Cheo Himal, Kang Guru, and Annapurna II. After taking a well-earned break and capturing some unforgettable photos, we begin the long descent into the beautiful Bimthang Valley. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and alpine landscapes, Bimthang is a peaceful place to relax after an incredible day. We will spend the night at a local teahouse, celebrating the successful crossing of Larkya La Pass.
Dharapani
After breakfast, we begin our trek from Bimthang to Dharapani. Today's trail is mostly downhill, making it a comfortable walk through beautiful Himalayan landscapes. Along the way, we pass through lush forests, clear streams, and traditional villages such as Tilije, where you can experience the local mountain lifestyle. As we continue, the trail joins the famous Annapurna Circuit route near the ACAP checkpoint at Dharapani. By late afternoon, we arrive at Dharapani, a lively mountain village where trekkers from both the Manaslu and Annapurna regions meet. We will spend the night at a local teahouse and enjoy a well-earned rest.
Kathmandu
Today marks the end of your unforgettable Manaslu Circuit Trek. After breakfast, we say goodbye to the beautiful mountains and begin our scenic drive back to Kathmandu via Besishahar. The journey takes you through charming villages, green hills, rivers, and beautiful valleys. Along the way, you can enjoy your final views of the Himalayan landscape and reflect on the amazing memories made during the trek. After arriving in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel.
