    The best walking tour I have ever been on (whether paid or tip based). Halil has so much knowledge but also a great sense of humour. So much insight about the history of what was being seen and not just the normal this is this this is that. Totally personal tour, with a number of recommendations and included a wonderful walk through the park to the cistern which was an excellent bonus seeing the ottoman water network and the modern art which is now know in there as in instillation. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul

    During our recent trip to Istanbul, my friends and I joined a free walking tour and had a fantastic experience. With just the four of us on the tour, it felt quite personal, almost like having our own private guide. Our guide, Mustafa, was excellent. He clearly has a deep passion for history, which shone through in his detailed explanations and engaging storytelling. Mustafa made the rich history of Istanbul come alive for us, sharing intriguing anecdotes and historical insights that we would have missed on our own. What stood out to us was how Mustafa took the time to answer our questions and tailor the information to our interests. It never felt rushed, and he ensured we fully understood and appreciated the significance of the sites we visited. After the tour, Mustafa also offered some great recommendations for dining and other places to visit, which proved to be very helpful for the rest of our trip.

    After our conference, our company booked us on a WalkyTalky Tour with tour guide Halil. He showed us the most historically significant ancient buildings, palaces and holy places in Istanbul's Old City and told us about the history of each place and he answered all our questions and made the whole tour a lot of fun. It was amazing!!! Halil is a WalkyTalky Encyclopedia!!!

    Mustafa was such an amazing guide! He met me and my boss in the afternoon while we had a long layover in Istanbul. He was very knowledgeable on the history and architecture of Istanbul. Can’t wait to return for another tour! Highly recommend
