The historical campsite is located on a grassy slope high above the Baltoro and commands one of the most intense mountain views in this world. The campsite was prepared by the Duke of Abruzzi at the beginning of this century. Easy day, finishing after about 5 kilometers (4-4 hours). As we gain in altitude, we are mindful not to push ourselves to hard or sleep too high too fast. Urdokas is a truly spectacular campsite, and one of our favorites along the whole trek.
