    I can recommend this tour. It was the right length and interesting. I could not imagine doing this without a guide. Transfers worked well. Van was comfortable. Fellow guests were all pleasant people.

    I appreciate that the tour was with favela locals who were able to answer questions. But the tour was mostly being driven to the top of the favela and walking down. There were some great views but otherwise, the tour wasn't much. But I'm grateful I saw a different side of Rio.

    Truly amazing experience. A whirlwind of emotions as you journey through the favelas. Edson is the most amazing guide, extremely knowledgable, friendly and approachable. The highlight of my trip to Rio!

    As a foreign tourist, it is a really terrible experience to me. The guide is not patient and the scenery is also too common. I won't recommend anyone to take, especially foreign tourists.
