    In a nutshell, we booked 24h in advance. Booking confirmed. Pick up time confirmed at 9am at our hotel. 10.30 am after multiple messages and call from our hotel, no messages and no calls. Honestly we did 2 tours before for other activities and it was professional. Really disappointing. Would not recommend with such behavior.

    Our driver Angus was communicative, friendly and on time. Wayan was a competent rafting guide who made it fun with lots of laughs. Lunch was good. Pre-trip communication from organiser was poor, very few responses to our whatsapp questions but this was the only “issue”. All up, a great experience and value for money!

    We loved our rafting experience with Toekad. Our tour guide was experienced and we felt that we were in good hands. He was also very entertaining. The scenery along the river is beyond stunning. Rainforest, mountains and waterfalls. We stopped at one of the bigger waterfalls for photos which was great. We were on the river for about 2 hours and that was perfect. Afterwards we had lunch which was included and quite good. One thing to point out though. Getting to the river and back up is via stairs that are uneven in height and slippery at times. And there are hundreds (!) of steps to negotiate. We are reasonably fit but were well and truly out of breath by the time we finished. But we loved it and would highly recommend.
