    I visited Ghana with my friends and we did this drumming and dance class together. It was such a fun and unique way to immerse ourselves in Ghanaian culture! The instructors were so patient and engaging in helping us nail the drumming rhythms, dance moves, and even the pronunciation of the song we sang. We definitely broke a sweat, but every moment was worth it. By the end, my friends and I were still singing and trying out the moves long after the class ended. If you’re looking for a lively and authentic experience in Ghana, this is it!

    Jimmy is a fantastic teacher. He’s very patient, thorough, and a lovely person. In addition to a dance and drumming lesson, I also returned for a 1 to 1 drumming lesson.

    Talk about a super fun time to immerse yourself in Ghanaian music and drum playing. My instructors were super funny and helpful. I recommend this to all traveler's. Get out in the sun and get moving !

    This is a 2-hour activity that will be catered to the desires of the traveler. You can include both 1 hour of instruction in African drumming techniques and 1 hour West African dancing choreography, such as the Kpalogo from greater Accra. Or you may decide you just want to learn 2 hours of dance choreography or focus on improving your drumming skills for the duration of the experience. If no message request is given, the normal 1Hr of drum, and 1Hr of dance will be included in your session!
