Great train with wonderful lunch incluided.
Only negative part is that you have to wait until morning of your trip to collect tickets ,and while we have been not prepared for it ,it was annoying. And Uzbek company works very slow to lower stress occured.

The train looks beautiful, I travelled and avail this train from Tashkent to Bukhara then Samarkand to Tashkent, comfortable train with good speed, it was comfortable train and provided with small snacks and water bottle, I reach Tashkent to Bukhara 630 Kms in 4.5 hrs but feel less comfortable with Air-condition, over all it was good memorable journey.

Never book with the travel agent: GOTOUZBEKISTAN
They are unprofessional and rude. We booked and paid for our tickets, a day prior to our trip we were not given the passes and upon enquiring the travel agent response was "sit back and relax" ; "can you be patient or not".
When pushed to cancel the trip, the agent had the nerve to be racists!!

Booked a return Afrosiyob ticket for Tashkent-Samarkand. The outbound e-ticket was sent me to the day before travelling, however I was disappointed to not receive the return ticket. Despite this being advertised as a "guaranteed" service, at the very last minute I was told that no Afrosiyob tickets were available. However they were helpful enough to arrange a regular Sharq train ticket for later that night, and by means of amapology to organise a free taxi pickup at Tashkent station
