All inclusive Snorkeling at Hol Chan

Let me start by saying the tour itself was amazing, the wildlife was beautiful, and we got to see manatees and a sea turtle! The tour operators were friendly, and they answered our questions about the wildlife with ease. The food was pretty good, and they had a variety of drinks to offer. The pictures were pretty cool too, if you want them to take photos of you, you need to ask though. Now for the bad: Communication was bad from the get-go. I messaged as soon as I booked the tour to try to arrange pickup from where we were staying, and I got no response. After almost a week with no response, I tried again. This time I got a response a couple hours later - just to be told they don't do that. In their description under "Departure and return" it states, "Traveler pickup offered" then later on under "Pickup details" it states "We pick up at some hotels on the island of Caye Caulker or San Pedro for en extra fee.". I'm copying from it right now - hence the misspelling. Now reading that, you think that pickup is offered from some hotels in San Pedro right? Wrong. They do not offer pickup from hotels in San Pedro. However, they offer pickup from the San Pedro ferry. At this point, all the other excursions were sold out, so we conceded to the pickup from the ferry. This wasn't too big of an issue. The big issue came at the end of the tour when they docked on Caye Caulker and told us we had to FIND OUT WAY BACK to San Pedro. On their description, under "Return details" it says "Returns to original departure point"; when I brought this up with the owner, he said the SHIP'S departure point, which was Caye Caulker, then proceeded to tell me he was being generous because he didn't charge me the pickup fee in the first place. I never even brought up the fee! In the end, I'm guessing it's a language issue, but at that point I was beyond mad because we were stranded and we had to wait in the heat for over an hour for the ferry back to Caye Caulker (and we're lucky we had cash because the ferry will not take card without ID which we didn't bring because we were not planning on needing it). There was one other thing, it was small, but I may as well bring it up so that no one else has this issue. The last part of the excursion is feeding tarpon. They showed us how to do it, then offered for us to do it. I held the fish over the water, the tarpon jumped up and my whole arm went in its mouth as it got the fish. It was really cool. The not cool part was that they assured us they don't have teeth but when my arm came back, I had long bleeding scratches down my arm. And honestly, that's fine, it hurt but nothing too bad, life happens. But what set me wrong footed was that at the beginning of the trip they said they had a first aid kit. They saw my arm, was like "oh whoops that sucks" and then asked anyone else if they wanted to try. I was astounded to say the least. Luckily, I had some Neosporin in my bag just in case of emergencies but I kept bleeding for a long while after that, all through the ferry ride I had to keep my arm elevated because it wouldn't stop. But again, life happens and the injury itself doesn't bother me, it was the fact they said they had first aid but when someone was injured they shrugged their shoulders and ignored it. Anyway, the two things you need to take away from this review: - Don't book this excursion if you're staying on San Pedro - Bring some kind of first aid with you just in case life happens

This tour was so much fun! Yeison and Brian did such an amazing job. They shared so much knowledge, took amazing photos and videos, helped us with the snorkeling gear, and made the experience all around great. Some highlights were swimming with eagle rays, nurse sharks, and even a manatee! We recommend this tour to everyone!

This was a great trip! Loved how the guide was in the water with you at all times. They showed us so many things and lunch was delicious! They even had beer for our boat ride back to the dock!!! Would highly recommend!

Jason and Bryan were excellent, informative and fun guides. We went snorkeling with them for a full day with many opportunities along the way to snorkel (more than we expected). We scheduled a pick up with Nauti Time Tours from the San Pedro pier since that’s where our hotel was. They were super accommodating and sweet when our daughter was struggling with the kid mask in the water. I would definitely recommend them to friends visiting Belize in the future.

This tour was great. It was my first time snorkeling and the tour guides were great. We had four Jose, Jason, Brandon and Jenneli. It was a pleasure having them as guides as they were well versed in the ocean facts! The food they offered was delicious and also offered some drinks. This was a great tour , deff take it with this tour group!
