What to expect
Kathmandu
Your Arrival Time (?) Our office representative will meet and greet you at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. At 06:00 PM: In the evening we will meet for a coffee and will brief you the details of your trek program.
Pokhara
At 06:30 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel and be ready for your drive to beautiful lake city Pokhara. Pokhara is about 200 KM far from Kathmandu, it takes Approx. 6-7 hours of drive to reach there. 03:00 PM: First check-in at your hotel. You will get a few hours to buy your required things for the trek if needed. If not, you can explore the lakeside area and take rest. You will keep your extra baggage at the hotel in Pokhara.
At 07:00 AM: Have your breakfast at the Pokhara hotel and be ready for our first-day adventure of the trek. We will start with the drive towards Ghandruk village in Kaski district of Nepal. The drive takes around 3 hours and from there we will start our trek towards Chhomrong. Our trek starts from Ghandruk leading towards the Jhinu danda where we will cross our first suspension bridge to climb furthermore up towards Chhomrong village.
Himalayas
At 08:00 AM: We will have our breakfast and start our trek towards the Himalaya. At the morning we will get the view of Annapurna south, Hiuchuli and Machhapuchhre mountain just in front of us. The trail continues downwards to cross the Chhomrong Khola river before climbing up towards the Sinwa village. The trail then passes through the beautiful bamboo forest reaching Dovan and finally to the Himalaya.
Machhapuchhare Base Camp
At 08:00 AM: After Breakfast at Himalaya, we will start our more uphill trek towards Machhapuchchhre Base camp. Before the MBC stop, we will stop at Deurali for our lunch and continue towards MBC. From MBC the magnificent view of the Annapurna Himalayas is seen.
At 05:00 AM: Today is the base camp day, we will trek to Annapurna Base camp, view the amazing sunrise, enjoy the majestic peaks around us. Take our time at base camp and return back to Machhapuchchhre base camp or even lower. The peaks visible from the base camp are, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Machhapuchchhre, Tare Kang, Gangapurna and numerous other sky-touching peaks.
Jhinu Danda
At 08:00 AM: We will further move down towards the lower elevation. The trail we will be following is the same as we came up before. Our stop for today will be Jhinu dada just below the chhomrong village. Jhinu dada has the Jhinu hot springs and we will retreat ourselves at hot spring after our successful trek in Annapurna Base camp.
Pokhara
At 08:00 AM: Today is our last day and after trekking for 2 hours we will catch the vehicle to Pokhara.
Kathmandu
At 07:00 AM: On this day you are returning to Kathmandu by drive. You will get shopping time in Kathmandu and we will have a farewell Nepali dinner together.
Tribhuvan International Airport
You will be free until your flight time; we will drop you at Kathmandu Airport 3 hour before your flight.
