    We had a great day at Aqualava. It’s not a very big water park but that suited us perfectly as it meant our children (10 and 14) could go off onto the slides or water area they wanted and it wasn’t far for us to see them. As there aren’t as many people there the queues were really short so we all got to go on the slides and activities several times making it a great value for money experience. You can’t take food in but we bought burgers and chips there which was good for our day out.

    Think we all enjoyed it, kids loved the slides. Think we stayed 3 hrs then walked back to hotel for lunch as only a couple hundred yards away. Mixture of salt and strange chemical taste in the wave pool was the only complaint during the visit. Wasn’t your normal chlorine taste.

    Food service was good and quick. Park was tired and dirty around the pools could do with a scrub and some tiles replaced. No water running on kids slides made them hard to slide and left our 4 year old with friction burns down his legs from trying to push himself down. Lazy river was great and in April it wasn't too busy. Overall he had an amazing time and didn't want to leave.

    Great little water park with everything you need for a really fun day. Good, reasonably priced food and helpful staff. Really enjoyed our visit and plan to return next year. A great day out, very impressed.
