Bastille
Behind the Place de la Bastille in the 12th arrondissement, slumbers a completely different Paris with its share of secrets. Cabinetmakers and carpenters were once legion along the Faubourg Saint-Antoine. Their vestiges are striking such as multiple interior courtyards. We would almost forget that we are in Paris. An old railway line transformed into a park becomes the perfect vantage point to discover a different perspective of the Quartier. The Arsenal and the Marché d'Aligre complete the district, making it perfect for taking photographs during a stroll.
18th Arrondissement - Butte-Montmartre
The small streets of Montmartre are the most famous. A favorite area for artists and troublemakers, the Butte is overlooked by the Sacré Cœur. But the place has so much more to offer than the view of Paris. Discover the old houses with wooden shutters, the winding alleys with cobbled streets. Climb the peaceful staircase discovering the details of this bohemian neighborhood. From secret gardens to the cemetery hidden under a bridge, Montmartre is an ideal playground for photographers.
Canal Saint-Martin
From the Place de la République to the Buttes-Chaumont via the Hills of Belleville, the Canal Districts exude a Bon Chic Bon Genre soul. Charming footbridges span the Canal Saint Martin flanked by its rows of trees, Parisians bask near the water, an ideal place for any photographer. With a long lens, it will even be possible to photograph Montmartre and the Eiffel Tower from the Quartier Haut with all its curiosities.
Quartier Latin
In the center of Paris sits the Latin Quarter. Perfect for admiring the crowds of the Jardin du Luxembourg and the view of the Pantheon is magnificent. But the magic of this District is essentially based on its hidden alleys and its intersections ready to be discovered! Nowhere else will you be able to contemplate the Arènes de Lutèce a stone's throw from the modern architecture of the Institut du Monde Arabe.
Olympiades
The Italy XIII housing project was started in the 1960s and was designed to regenerate the idea of urban development in Paris. Known for its brutalist architecture and thriving Chinatown, the area surrounding the Olympiads is a unique neighborhood in Paris, not found elsewhere in the capital.
