What to expect
Bangkok
Once your tuk-tuk has picked you up directly from your Bangkok hotel at 19:00 hrs, you will be taken to a meeting point where your friendly, English-speaking Food Tour Guide will greet you. The meeting location will be at the first foodie place, which has a Michelin recommendation: the Suan Mali Street Kitchen! Make sure to come hungry, as there will be plenty of some of the best Bangkok Street foods to try!
Suan Mali Chicken Noodle at Klang Hospital Junction
This is the first food stop on the tour. It's an open-air chicken noodle parlor that occupies one part of a narrow alley. At nighttime, the high flames and extremely hot chili oil produce a smoky flavor and aroma as well as a nice presentation into the food culture of Thailand. It's a small stall owned and managed by a local Thai family. Sample Menu: Suan Mali Chicken Noodle, their signature dish!
Bangkok Art & Culture Centre
Our next Street Food Paradise is the vibrant Ban That Thong Night Market, known for its relaxed atmosphere and delicious street food. This street has evolved from a neglected area selling auto parts to a bustling street food haven. We will experience Ban That Thong Street on foot and sample delicious Thai food from various eateries, including a tasting menu of: -Som Tom Thai Papaya Salad -Gai Yang Grilled Chicken -Isaan Northeastern Sausage -Moo Satay Pork Skewers with Peanut Sauce -Kanom Krok Thai Coconut Pancake
The tour continues to Yaowarat, Bangkoks's Chinatown, one of the largest in the world and renowned for its incredible street food. Here, we will venture by foot again and get an up-close sense of all the sounds and smells as we go hunting for our welcoming desert nightcap, with sample menu such as: -Thai stir-fried ice cream -Chinese donuts -Herbal drinks
