I visited attracted by the idea of interacting with monkeys. The staff is friendly and welcoming but taking care of animal welfare the experience with the monkeys puzzled me... they are very beautiful and lively but you feel they are conditioned to interact with visitors. They chase after food, walk on visitors but when they try to walk away or climb trees they are returned or recalled to stay with humans (sometimes even caught by the tail). They have no choice, they have to be there every day doing the same thing to entertain people and that's what bothered me. That's not what I imagine a place to say it's protecting animals. I'm very curious to see their facilities behind this. Where did they come from? In what conditions do monkeys live? What are they eating? What do they do other than entertain people? Information that facilitators should pass on. I think Monkey House should review its practices to really respect them. In 2025 it shouldn't be like this...

It's sad... they are conditioning and obliged to interact with the public. I would be curious to see the back of the decor.... By 2025, this kind of practice should no longer exist. They should rethink the way they do things...

We had the BEST time at MonkeyHouse monkey sanctuary! You get to meet 4 different kinds of monkeys during the excursion. The staff was all knowledgable and very friendly. You could tell that they really cared about the monkeys and they were treated so well. The monkeys were allowed to climb on you, around you and jump on you. It was amazing how fast they are! You were allowed to pet and interact with the monkeys and the staff did not rush you. It was exactly the right amount of time. You got to bottle feed a monkey as well as have a picnic with the baby monkeys. Our children absolutely loved it and we did as well. Definitely a once in a lifetime excursion. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for some true time with the animals and not a quick 5 minute picture session. They offer picture and video packages as well and they are truly worth purchasing to remember the memories. You are allowed to take your own pictures on your device during the picnic. Book it! You will be happy you did! Thank you so much to the staff!!!

We had such an amazing time at Monkey House. They took awesome photos, we had so much time with the monkeys, and we loved learning about each species while playing with them. They are so well taken care of and so well loved, and so enjoyable and sweet. We loved our experience here! We especially loved meeting their rescue Luis. He smiles when prompted and is so adorable!

A fun trip for the whole family! We got to play with all different kinds of monkeys, spider monkeys, green African , and white and black cappuccino! Our 2 little boys couldn’t stop laughing…just bring a pair of clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!
