The walk to the wall was significant in two ways.. for what it stood for historically.. dividing people in two parts without being able to cross over when they wished or desired. A literal “wall” intended to block. On the other hand I couldn’t help but admire the paintings and graffiti on the Wall. Some were just attractive but most conveyed some deep rooted message.

Very unfriendly staff who did not want to work, following the numerous malfunctions at the airport (out of order terminal for checking in hold baggage, the gates for small baggage broken down, lack of staff at baggage checks, etc.) who are friendly like prison doors and who are overzealous. We almost missed our plane even though we were very short of time. We all had to open our bags as they were going to go to the shelves, this is the first time we have had such a bad experience. The rigor advocated by the Germans took a big hit.
