    Everyone in the organization was nice, but bikes were past their best time and therfore not 100% safe, clothing and helmets were worn out, and the guide set a very demanding pace, in fact many people in my group constantly fell behind. Death Road is really quite dangerous, I would prefer a company with better equipment

    Beware! I did the death road with them. Bikes were constantly falling apart, suspension was TERRIBLE, and they never sent the photos despite pausing constantly to take them. For some reason I also booked Huayna Potosi with them. I contracted COVID and could not go. They refused to reimburse the cost of the trip, eventually providing a partial reimbursement claiming they had already bought the soup for the trip... It is cheap for a reason. Disappointing service.

    Hi guys, I booked the death road trip with Barro Biking. Honestly, I had a great day with a guide making a lot of photos and videos. We were so happy that we survived the death road. The guide told us that the photos and videos would be send to us in the same week. However, until today (2 months later) I did NOT receive anything. I sent a lot of messages, which are ignored by Barro Biking or sometimes they say that photos have already been sent. This is not true. So if you want to have photos of your journey of the death road, do NOT book with Barro Biking! They do NOT send them!! Most of the other companies are a bit more expensive, but I understood from other travelers that they all send the photos afterwards, mostly even the same night.

    Greedy Manager and bad customer service. The only thing they see in you is money and would sacrifice that for customer service.

    We did the full day biking trip to the death road. It was a great experience, as our guide Luis and our driver (Ricardo I think) were super friendly and funny. We got well instructed and got super good supplies, even pants, protectors and a jacket. The bikes were good as well (we double suspension). First part of the path is paved, then becomes rocky but is never very hard to ride. The snack was great and at the perfect time, lunch was also possible vegetarian and at the lunch place at the end you could swim in pools and take a shower. The car accompanies you all the way in case you get tired or need a break you can get on the car at any time. Luis took lots of pictures and videos and sent them to us after the trip. We got a discount after asking so it cost the same as other organizers offered.
