    From start to finish, the experience was incredible, thanks to our enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide providing us with fascinating insights about the Southern Right species. We were fortunate enough to spot several majestic Southern Right Whales. Watching these magnificent creatures breach and play in the water was a breathtaking experience that I will never forget.

    Based at the old harbour a few minutes out of town. Friendly, informative and well organised. The boat is very comfortable and modern and well set up for the trip. They are assisted by a drone which is a great idea. They found us a southern right which stayed near us for half an hour or so- absolutely incredible!

    Unique experience whale watching by boat. Excellent briefing by experienced staff before leaving the harbour. Realise you must have some luck to see the whales but staff knows to find them. One even hit the boat when he/she came out of the water in front of us. Good communication of South Right Charters when trip had to be postponed due to rough sea. Immediately alternative offered or refund of the money. Lucky we opted for the alternative 2 days later!

    Amazing ezperience. Profrssional boat crew...where the guide was more excited to see the whales then we were.. we were fortunate to see a mother and her calf within about 20 mins of leaving tgr harbour....also had amazing memory to buy their drone footage of us on the boat and a aerial close up view of the whales. A definite place to book.
