Breaking Bad RV Tours

I booked an SUV tour for an afternoon, then the next day a private tour to To'hajiilee. Worth every penny. Next time I am in ABQ I'll take the morning RV tour as I'm sure the group dynamic is amazing, but the small tours were everything I could have hoped for. Thanks for the memories Frank and Pete!

I have been wanting to do this tour for so many years and in January I was finally in Albuquerque so it was the perfect moment to do the tour. Unfortunately I have to say that at the moment this company is run very poorly. The booking process is very difficult because they only open up spots for the tour a couple of days out (I booked on a Thursday for a tour that Saturday). I tried to book earlier but on the website you can’t book the tour farther out and it will tell you to call a phone number which will just give you a prerecorded message. I must have called at least 5 times and they never answered the phone. Also I had emailed them twice and they never answered my emails. Anyway when I finally got the tour booked I was very happy because according to other reviews the tour itself is nice. On Saturday morning we received a text message that due to “the bus being down” the tour was cancelled. It would have been nice if they had a backup option for when this happens. I was disappointed the tour was cancelled. They did offer me a refund which I received about 1 week later. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this company at the moment. Personally what I did is rent a car and I drove by the Breaking Bad locations myself.

I am from Austria and was visiting my brother in Albuquerque. It was my second time on the BB Tour. I did my first tour two years ago. I was a Christmas present of my brother who knew that I love BB and BCS shows. I enjoyed the tour very much and said, I might want to do it again on my next visit, so my brother took care of that. Thanks Michael! I enjoyed this tour very much. This time it wasn't in the RV but in a small bus. I actually liked that more, because I could see much more of the surroundings. Of course, if there is no RV at all to look at or peek in, the tour is lacking a bit of fan experience. I had that the last time, but I felt sorry for the other guests. The tour itself is still a great experience. Our guide Luigi knows his stuff an knows how to tell a good story. It was an entertaining three hours and I'm sure when I get home I'll restart to watch the series. While I had a great time my brother ran through quite some trouble to make the booking. I happen to live in Albuquerque, and tried for weeks to get a suitable booking. First time I looked at the site was beginning of December - there were no free slots available. From then on I checked EVERY day in the morning. In the next 3 weeks I spotted ONE time an open slot (but it was too early). I tried to call the phone number multiple times only to get an answering machine. I left a message once but was never called back. As no dates were announced for January I had my hopes to get a spot there - but when the slots appeared ALL WERE GREYED OUT ALREADY. Despite all I continued looking at the page at least once, sometimes twice or three times per day. FINALLY - my brother was already in ABQ, suddenly three days were open. I booked the first available but that tour, and the tour on the day after, were cancelled due to "not enough passengers". I think it was a Christmas wonder of Negra Arroyo Lane that my brother could go on the tour at all. How does the organizer expect any visitor to ABQ to do any long term planning at all????

Amazing tour, especially for big fans of the show. Luigi had a direct connection to the show’s filming which makes the tour legit and valuable. He makes for a great host and does his best to make your time with him worthwhile. Difficult to replicate on your own. He offers his personal antidotes, pictures, and experiences and is the only one who offers this tour in ABQ. Even comes w a NM breakfast burrito for free mid-tour! You learn a bit about ABQ and see a piece of Route 66 as well. Difficult to book but well worth it. (Try checking the website the night before as they don’t return messages.) Can’t wait to tell other fan friends back home.

Took this tour when in town for the balloon fest….it was awesome! Ended up on the shuttle, but happy about that as lots of room for taking pics and comfortable seating. Plenty of opportunity to go inside the RV for a look see and photos. Luigi our guide was the bomb! Shared lots of his personal experiences with actors on the show. Made tons of stops around town that brought back lots of great Breaking Bad memories. Highly recommended!!
