District V / Inner City
You will have several stops in the downtown including Vaci utca ( the shopping street since time immemorial and by the turning of the century the Bond street of Budapest. Gerbeaud Café ( the 150 years old pastry shop) several Art Nouveua and Modern buildings, the first McDonalds in town, few hundred years old residential buildings and much more.
We walk along the Danube Promenade where you will see lots of urban art statues, the Municipal Concert Hall and will see the picturesque panorama of the Buda Castle Hill and Gellert Hill. You will also learn about the Hungarian history and heroes in brief.
We show you the Grand Central Market and speak about the major flea, festive and farmers's market in the city, teach you how to bargain, and what to take home as souvenirs from Hungary.
Liberty Bridge (Szabadsag hid)
We stop at Liberty Bridge topped by Turul birds and show you the Romantic Gellert Thermal Bath, the Cave Church and Monastery, the biggest bottle opener in town called Liberty Statue, some recent urban art hidden on the bridge and much more.
