There are several sculptures outside in the garden as well as wonderful murals that you can see from outside.
Fort Fincastle
You can also explore this as well as other historic sites in Nassau. Fort Fincastle was built in 1793 to help protect the city from pirates. Located atop Bennet’s Hill, the highest point on New Providence Island, it provided the best views of Nassau and Paradise Island as well as the eastern approaches to the islands.

There are dramatic recreations of battles with sound and light; a number of displays depicting the lives of pirates, their living quarters, tools and weaponry; how they were punished for indiscretions, including being marooned on a deserted island; in addition to plaques on the wall providing historical details of the era. There is also a gift shop on the premises.

The Nassau Botanical Gardens provide a tranquil retreat for nature-loving residents and visitors. It features 18 acres of tropical flora covering over 600 species, including the Bahamas national flower, the Yellow Elder.

This 1,280-acre park located on the south central coast of New Providence is an important marine nursery area. You can learn about mangroves while kayaking in this place.
Christ Church Cathedral
The Lord Proprietors built the original building on this site in 1670, making it the first church built in The Islands Of The Bahamas. The present structure, built in 1841, is the fifth church that has occupied this spot. The year 1861 marked an historic beginning for the islands; Nassau became a city and Christ Church was made a Cathedral.
Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Bahamas
From a suspended airplane and pool bar to the outdoor deck with a fun and entertaining staff, Margaritaville is more than a restaurant - it's a state of mind. Margaritaville has everything you need to have a good time: great music, their signature menu, three unique bars, indoor and outdoor seating, a fin-shaped pool and a stage for live performances.
Fort Charlotte
If you have time to visit only one fort, see Fort Charlotte, the largest one on New Providence at 100 acres. Located one mile west of downtown Nassau, just off West Bay Street, it sits on a hill overlooking the far west end of the harbor, commanding an impressive view of Paradise Island, Nassau, and the harbor. Every Wednesday and Friday, starting at 11:30 a.m., a living historical scene lets you step back in time and experience daily life in 18th-century Nassau. It features characters dressed in period costume, who exhibit basketweaving techniques, kitchen utensils used over 250 years ago, and fruits sold at the market. It culminates with the firing of the cannon at 12:00 noon.
Clifton Heritage National Park
A walk along the winding trails throughout the park will reveal a variety of ecosystems, such as native coppice, cliffs, coastal wetlands, dunes, rocky shorelines, sandy beaches, and offshore coral reefs. Local fauna include songbirds, wading birds, seabirds, and other wildlife. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, hiking, camping, snorkeling using our snorkels, birdwatching, and picnicking in the Park, and the panoramic views from the cliffs.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
