What to expect
Haedong Yonggungsa
You can experience Buddhist culture by touring traditional Korean temples, and have an event where you can pray with your wishes written on leaves. It was founded in 1376 (2nd year of King U’s reign) during the Goryeo Dynasty by Hyegeun, the royal preceptor of King Gongmin. It was later destroyed by the Japanese invasions of Korea and rebuilt in the early 1930s. In 1974, Jeongam took office and prayed for the restoration of the temple as Avalokitesvara. He said he saw Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva dressed in white ascending to heaven on a dragon in a dream, so the name of the temple was changed to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple.
Gamcheon Culture Village
Gamcheon Culture Village began in the 1950s as a home for the difficult lives of Korean refugees and continues to the present, preserving the history of Busan, a cross-section and trace of the nation's modern history. The uniqueness of Gamman Bay is demonstrated by the terraced group of residential structures arranged in an orderly manner along the foot of the mountain and the maze of alleyways leading to all paths. The 『Village Art Project』, which was started by local artists and village residents to preserve the characteristics and historical value of Gamcheon, became a stepping stone for the project to create Gamcheon Cultural Village, and starting with this project, various public contests were attracted, and in 2015, about 1.4 million people participated. This has become a popular attraction to visit.
Haeundae Blue Line Park
Haeundae Blue Line Park is a park where you can enjoy the coastal scenery of Haeundae. It was created by redeveloping the old railway facilities of the Donghae Nambu Line connecting Busan and Haeundae in an eco-friendly way. You can use the 4-person Sky Capsule or the Coastal Tourist Train. It runs a 4.8km section from Haeundae Mipo to Songjeong via Cheongsapo. Take the capsule and the coastal tourist train and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery while having a happy time in Haeundae, Busan^^
Songdo Marine Cable Car was reborn as the ‘Busan Air Cruise’ brand in June 2017 through a restoration project to revive the old reputation of Songdo Beach, Korea’s first public beach. At a height of up to 86m, it travels 1.62km across the sea from Songnim Park on the east side of Songdo Beach to Amnam Park on the west side, giving you the thrill of being in the middle of the sea, while also providing access to Songdo Beach, Busan's Yeongdo and Namhangdaegyo Bridge, the Songdo Coastal Trail, and the wavy rock cliffs. You can appreciate it with your eyes. In addition, it is the best tourist cable car through various experience and theme facilities such as 'Dino Adventure', where giant dinosaurs make noise, 'Songdo Doppelmeyer World', Korea's first cable car museum, and Asia's first trapeze 'VR Sky Swing'. Brings you joy.
Ahopsan Forest
This forest is located at the foot of Nine Mountain in Cheolma-myeon, Gijang, Busan, and is a place where you can experience undamaged natural environment and ecology. Artificial forests such as bamboo forests, cypress forests, cedar trees, and ginkgo trees, and natural forests including Geumgang pine trees, which are 100 to 300 years old, make up the Nine Mountain Forest. This is a private forest that has been maintained for about 400 years, and only a limited number of people who have made a reservation in advance are allowed to enter to protect nature. Unlike amusement parks or amusement parks, viewing is possible only as long as it does not damage nature, but there are also forest experience and play programs for children, and you can also listen to forest explanations. It is also famous as a filming location for Korean dramas and movies.
Songdo Skywalk
The Cloud Trail, which is a bridge connecting Turtle Island on the east side of the beach with the mainland, has some sections made of transparent tempered glass, giving you the feeling of walking in the middle of the sea. While walking on the sea, you can see the Songdo coast and Songdo Beach, where numerous ships are anchored, at a glance, emerging as a new landmark in Busan beaches. Songdo Cloud Trail, which opened in 2015, is a 365m long bridge that leads to the sea. When passing through the tempered glass and magic grating sections built on the bridge, you can enjoy a thrilling feeling as you can see the rippling sea through the floor.
Busan Tower
Busan Tower is a 120m high observatory located in Yongdusan Park in downtown Busan. The magnificent view of Busan Port and Yeongdo, Busan's old town, from the observatory is a great impression for tourists, and at night, Busan's splendid night view and fireworks mapping shows are also held, making it a great place to make romantic memories. The upper floor of the tower has an observatory, and the lower floor has various amusement facilities with a flying submarine concept, when you come down to the second floor, there is a splendid photo zone and a room decorated with colors representing Busan's representative tourist destinations.
Hwangnyeongsan Mountain
The summit of Hwangnyeongsan Mountain is the only place where you can take in the panoramic view of Busan at a glance. There is also a cafe and an observatory where you can enjoy the night view of Busan while drinking tea or coffee. It is a must-see night view spot for tourists visiting Busan. Also, the beacon tower on the summit of Hwangnyeongsan Mountain, along with Seokseong Beacon Tower and Ganbiosan Beacon Tower, is recorded in the Annals of King Sejong, and is said to have existed before 1425 (the 7th year of King Sejong). It is said that it took 4 hours to send a signal to the capital city of Seoul. Take a picture of your life with the beautiful scenery of Busan. It will be an unforgettable memory.
Bupyeong Kkangtong Market
In the 1890s, it was located in Bupyeong-dong, Jung-gu, Busan under the name of 'Sageori Market', and was designated as the first public market in the country in 1910. Then, after the Korean War, refugees began selling mainly canned goods from US military bases, such as canned goods, here, and the name 'Canned Can Market' arose. In addition, it is said that there were many strange items, so it was also nicknamed ‘Goblin Market’. Dozens of street food stalls are located on both sides and in the center of the 110m long narrow street, selling snacks and other snacks. What's unique is that there are a lot of foreign foods, and there are quite a few stores sold directly by foreigners. There is a wide variety of dishes, including Turkish kebabs, Indonesian mee goreng, Vietnamese spring rolls, and Japanese or Filipino dishes. Because there are so many people and the road is narrow, it is spectacular to see everyone walking in one line.

Also, if you walk along the path lined with camellia and pine trees, you can see Nurimaru, where the 2005 APEC summit was held, and a mermaid statue containing the legend of Princess Hwangok from Mermaid Land.
Yongdusan Mountain is one of Busan's three famous mountains. In the past, it was called Songhyeonsan Mountain because the sea was visible through the dense pine trees, but it was later called Yongdusan Mountain because the mountain's shape resembles a dragon and has the potential to devour Japanese pirates coming from Japan. Yongdusan Park has the Busan Tower Observatory, the statue of King Lee Chung-mu, the statue of Baeksan Ahn Hee-jae, the bell pavilion, the flower clock, and the dragon-shaped statue, and there is an escalator that connects Nampo-dong to the park. If you go up to Yongdusan Park, there is a beautiful view overlooking Busan Port and Yeongdo, and if you go up to the Busan Tower at the highest point of the park, you can see a beautiful night view of downtown Busan, including Busan Port and Namhang in the distance.
Igidae Urban Natural Park has an excellent night view, five small suspension bridges, and a spectacular view of the coastal cliffs with strangely shaped rocks along the coastline falling diagonally into the sea. There is a stone Buddha statue on the coastal cliff of Igidae, and a yard with a dinosaur model has been created around an area known to have dinosaur footprints to be used as a rest area for citizens. Another legend about the name of Igidae is that two gisaeng got a Japanese general drunk and then jumped into the sea with him in his arms.
Gwangalli Beach
At Gwangalli Beach, a popular tourist destination for young people, you can enjoy live fish and octopus tasting (paid experience) while looking at Gwangan Bridge. Also, on Saturday nights, you can watch a drone show, making it a popular spot for young people. There are various unique cafes and bars, so there are plenty of things to eat and see, and the beautiful night view of Gwangan Bridge is especially spectacular at night.
