I have been many times before but this time I was very disappointed. They have reduced the whole experience with minimal freebies. What used to take around 3 hours was done in 1 hour. Would not recommend

Haven’t not been here for many years, was really looking forward to it and I’m very very disappointed and won’t ever be back. It’s very over priced for what it is. Got 3 bars of chocolate free each. Literally was around the exhibition including the ride in 25 minutes. You don’t get to see how chocolate is made like it used to be when you walk past the glass windows and see all the factory and the machines. Didn’t go to the outside area as this was more for kids. Really disappointed and won’t ever return and won’t recommend. The whole out of the visit is to also see how chocolate is made apart from watching on a TV. They have reduced this exhibition by over 50%. Don’t go!

Me, my sister and our parents came to Cadbury world for my sister’s birthday, and we were hugely disappointed. The tour started with us getting 4 chocolate bars and that was it for "free" chocolate for the rest of the tour. They also offered a bag for the chocolate which was an extra £2. Then there were some things about the history of Cadbury Chocolate, which was vaguely interesting, but we soon got bored after 10 minutes of jabbering. There was then a ride, and we were supposed to shoot milk bottles and cocoa beans with laser guns on screens and 2 out of 4 of the guns didn't work. This was hugely underwhelming, and we only got chocolate at the end of it because it was my sister’s birthday. We came off that ride and were guided to the shop where they expected us to spend more money in addition to the entry fee. Then with no directions whatsoever, we got to the outside, overpriced café. A regular, plain Cadbury’s hot chocolate with nothing on it was £4! And they wanted £6 for whipped cream and marshmallows on top!! After that, we went to the “Bournville Experience” which was a room with a table in the middle with a model of Bournville. There was also a timeline on the wall of things that happened in the past 200 years. And a few of them weren’t even to do with chocolate. We left that after 5 minutes of getting bored and headed to the “4D Adventure” which was when we put some 3d glasses on and went in a balloon with a rabbit. As underwhelming as that was, we decided to try and end on a high with the “Have a go” bit. We started with writing our name in chocolate that we were not allowed to eat because it had been reused hundreds of times. We then moved on to a bit where we pushed some chocolate around on a table with some tools. We weren’t allowed to eat that either. That was it for the whole tour. We also paid £6 for a personalise birthday chocolate bar for my sister.
Overall, underwhelming, overpriced, not good value for money AT ALL. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Visited 5th Jan, 4 adults and 2 children (5 and 1). Lovely day out, highlights were the chocolate quest ride, the 4d cinema, and doodling with chocolate. Would have been nice to see more of the production of the chocolate.

Amazing day out! We are an adult couple and decided to try cadburys world as I had never been before.
We were not disappointed! We arrived 2 hours earlier than our tour booking, so we spent those 2 hours doing the outside activities.
We waited 20 minutes for the 4D show and both enjoyed it.
Next, the Bournville history museum was amazing. So informative and interesting to learn about the history of cadburys. We also wrote our names in chocolate and had fun doing this.
Finally, it was time for the tour. We walked through independently without a tour guide and enjoyed learning about where chocolate came from originally, as well as the advertisements Cadbury have used over the years. Again, very informative.
The ride at the end of the tour was a shooting style ride which we did not overly enjoy. It was very quick and not very educational- but younger children may enjoy. One plus point is the ‘team score’ element whereby rather than individual family members getting a score, the whole cart is working together to get a high score. I can see this being an asset if you have competitive children!
