This was a really nice taste of Cairo at night, highly recommend if you're staying elsewhere in the town (or you're staying in Giza) and you want a taste of Cairo without too much hassle or are wary of going out on your own. Mahmoud Badr was my guide and he was fantastic, clearly passionate about Egyptology and history and had some fantastic stories. Esam was a great driver too. Views from the top of the tower are great at night, but just be aware you might be waiting your turn to go up the tower for a little while. Wasn't a problem for me, as Mahmoud was excellent company. Going through downtown Cairo was also lots of fun with all the hustle and bustle. Wish I would have turned town the shopping opportunities at the end -- it was late and I was tired -- but it was still fun to check out the papyrus and such.

This is a great tour for those just looking for a visit to the Cairo Tower (great views from the top) and driving and walking around the downtown area for a short while. Mahmoud Badr (guide) was very friendly and gave us lots of useful information and even bought us ice cream. Anwar (driver) safely and quickly drove us around. Was a very pleasant evening.

Wonderful introduction to Cairo. We spent a few hours in the company of our guide Mohamed Gomaa who was very informative, enthusiastic and great company. Cairo Tower has amazing views at night and the city streets are vibrant. Definitly recommend

Our guide was Mahmoud and Ramadan was our driver. I'd always wanted to go to the Cairo Tower, but never seemed to have gotten there during my previous two visits to Cairo 40 years ago. This 3 hour tour seemed the perfect solution, see the tower and also be able to introduce my friend, a first timer to Egypt, to downtown Cairo at night. Our flight back from Aswan was late, getting us to our hotel after our tour was supposed to have started. I can't begin to say how much we both appreciated finding Mahmoud waiting for us in the lobby when we arrived, at least a good half hour past the scheduled time of departure. Even though we were late getting started, Mahmoud and Ramadan gave us the full tour and I was finally able to visit the Cairo Tower, which is actually higher than the Space Needle here in Seattle.
