    This was a great experience. I had a brilliant time getting to know the language and writing my name in Kanji. The people who run the tour are very friendly, and it was nice chatting with them as well.

    I liked the experience of writing my name in Japanese. Hostess Yuta and teacher Karina were great! They had a lot of patience and didactics. The teacher instructed me to write my name in Japanese even though I was a foreigner. Their English is great to understand. And I was able to bring home a very special memory.

    Was a nice experience. Sakutaro was very patient. Taught us about the different styles of calligraphy and let us pick which one we wanted to do. My husband was up for a challenge and he was patient with him being a novice. Let us choose our words and it was a memorable experience.

Shibuya Shinjuku Ikebukuro Ginza Akihabara Ryogoku Ueno Ebisu Experience the authentic Culture of Japanese calligraphy, not in a tourist attraction but in a setting that feels true to Japanese life. Your guide will introduce the history of calligraphy — how it evolved uniquely in Japan with Hiragana and Katakana, and became a way to calm the mind much like the tea ceremony. You’ll then learn about the traditional tools — brush, ink, paper, and inkstone — and see how each contributes to the beauty of the art. After a demonstration, you will practice the essential brush strokes, including the famous “永” character, which contains all the basic techniques. Finally, you’ll create your own name in Kanji with a meaningful character chosen for you, and bring home your finished work as a special memory. To make the experience more personal, we offer different location options that can be arranged according to your needs — whether in a calm studio, a cultural venue, or a cozy local space. This is more than a lesson; it’s an authentic cultural exchange where you can truly feel the spirit of Japan.

Zen, a uniquely Japanese form of maindulness, is practised to prepare the mind. 2 Experience a calligraphy 3. Find Your Own Name in Kanji 4. Wearing a kimono (one of Japan's traditional cultures) while having an activity 5. Try to Master Self-Introduction in Japanese 6.Take a Photo with KIMONO & Calligraphic work of Yours You can write your own names in kanji to experience traditional Japanese culture, or write your favorite anime phrases. At the end of the event, we will present it to you along with a hanging scroll. You can Learn about calligraphy and Japanese from each Master/ Official Teacher. This activity is great for everyone. (Solo Traveler, Couple, Family...) This is the only tour where you can experience it with all five senses!!!!!
