Cameron Valley Tea House and plantation is located along the main road in Kuala Terla, a village township nestled between Tringkap and Kampung Raja about 7km north of Kea Farm in Brinchang. One of two plantations owned by the Bharat Group in Cameron Highlands, Cameron Valley is smaller than Bharat Teaat Tanah Rata, but features a more peaceful environment due to its relatively remote location. The tea house has a viewing/dining deck on its rooftop that overlooks the tea hills, while a shop stocked with Bharat products lies downstairs next to the cafe counter. For many visitors arriving at Cameron Highlands from Simpang Pulai, the tea house is a favourite stopover before Brinchang.
Big Red Strawberry Farm, also known as Taman Agro Tourism Cameron Highlands offers one-stop garden and farm centre to relax and unwind. It is located in Brinchang town, right beside Cactus Valley at the new town of Brinchang. If you are staying in Brinchang, ask the receptionist at your hotel and they can guide you on how to reach there. Alternatively, identify Star Regency Hotel/Apartment and it is only about 500 m from this place. Same location as Cactus Valley. From the main road, turn into road where Star Regency is located. Take a right at the junction and go in about 200 metres.
Rose Valley is a flower garden at Tringkap, located along the main road towards Brinchang town. Here, visitors can see over 450 different species of roses, flowers, plants and cactus on display along a pretty garden walk with European-inspired landscapes and monuments. Open daily from morning till evening, tickets are priced MYR5 for adults and MYR2 for children.
Kea Farm is an agricultural district in Cameron Highlands, located 3km north of Brinchang town or 3km before Tringkap. Its central feature is a vegetable market along the main road - a popular shopping destination for visitors on weekends. Perched on a plateau next to Copthorne Hotel (formerly Equatorial Resort), traders and farmers sell the best of their crops and goods here from morning till evening. As the market nears closing time, look for great bargains on perishable stock like greens, corn, strawberries, flowers, food stuff and more. Some tourist attractions that lie within the vicinity include Rose Center, Ee Feng Gu and Butterfly Garden.
Sungai Palas
Sungai Palas Garden is a tea plantation located in Brinchang about 5km north from town or 2km away from Kea Farm Market. Owned and managed by Boh Tea, it complements their main estate at Habu in Ringlet, featuring its very own tea center, visitor gallery and show factory. Likewise, the Sungai Palas tea garden is also shut up within its own isolated valley away from the main roa. The road in begins at left after the Butterfly Garden, with a large signboard that clearly indicates the way. After short but windy stretch, the view breaks into a magnificent panorama of vast tea fields stretched across the valley and slopes. Follow the road right from the signboard until the end; the Sungai Palas Boh Tea Center is perched on top a small hill.
Lavender Garden (Cameron Lavender)
Cameron Lavender is a show garden between Tringkap and Kuala Terla, about 4km north of Kea Farm in Brinchang. One of the more recent attractions in the highlands, the garden features a beautiful lavender field with an assorment of other continental flowers on display, fringed with colourful statues and objects inspired by European countryside scenery. Within the compound, there is a small market for souvenirs, merchandise and souvenirs, while the garden has its own product store and a cafe on a viewing deck at top floor, serving lavender-infused meals including cakes and drinks. Strawberry picking is also available. Open daily from 9am till 6pm, a small ticket fee is charged on visitors.
