    Ildi Pelican is a very knowledgeable and passionate tourguide who made our day excellent even though the rainy weather. She was very flexible, she modified the program as it was the best for us during the weather conditions. We visited many places inside, tasted local specialities, used the public transport and walked around beautiful streets and parks of Cardiff. Ildi managed to make us fall in love with Wales and want to return for more than just a day.

    I loved this day tour in Cardiff. What a pleasure to be shown around the city by our brilliant guide Ildi. She took us to The heart of city, including the Castle, the quaint shopping arcades, a boat trip in the Bay and also helped us to sample delicious local produce. I can’t wait to go again. Highly recommended. A unique and not to be missed day out from London.

    I don't think we would have appreciated Cardiff without this informative guided tour. We met our guide, Ildi, near the Welsh Millennium Centre at Mermaid Quay. This area had several points of interest and culture. Ildi introduced us to Welsh Cakes, which we made sure to get a dozen before we left Cardiff. The tour continued with a water taxi ride to the Cardiff City Centre. We were guided through the streets and arcades, where we were introduced to an array of shopping and restaurants. A highlight for us was the tour of Cardiff Castle. This castle and mansion are very well maintained and fascinating to go through. Our guide had a lot of knowledge about the history of the castle and the families who had lived there. We had lunch on our own and afterwards, went to the Cardiff National Museum. Ildi guided us through the highlights of the museum's art collection. This tour was pleasant. It progressed at a comfortable pace and opened us up to excellent ideas of how to spend the rest of our visit in Cardiff. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants a starting point to enjoy the city of Cardiff.

    Darran answered all my questions and shared wonderful history of Cardiff and Wales. He gave us options and helped tailor the day to our interests. It was a great way to learn a lot and get a good overview of the city when we only had a short amount of time. He has great recommendations for additional sites, shopping and eateries.     Perfectly paced and very interesting tour of Cardiff and its history. Our guide, Darran, had an encyclopedic depth knowledge of the city and its history, the good the bad and the humorous. Don’t let the “all day” aspect put you off, you move at your own pace spending as much time as needed at each stopping point. His patriotism and passion for his country shines through and is the perfect person to share a pint of Brains with at the end of the day.
