We arrive at Josephine Falls within the Wooroonoon National Park. At the base of Qlds highest mountain Bartle Frere into the world heritage Wet Tropics Rainforest. Enjoy the interpretive guided rainforest walk with your guide into a beautiful cascade of waterfalls. Learn of the endemic species of flora and fauna, immerse yourself in the sounds and sights of the biodiversity of the rainforest. Walk the path of the Noongyonbudda Ngadjon people and learn the significance of bush tucker, medicines and cultural significance. Guests have the option to enjoy a short swim.

The scenic drive takes us into Innisfail the heart of the Cassowary Coast, a historic agricultural town with a facade of original art deco buildings rich European culture and pioneer history. Stopping briefly outside the town library to view for the photographic collage of the Cassowary Coast titled ” From the Range to the Reef” created by local artist.
Goondoi Culture Tours
Engage in the Goondoi wetlands Cassowary Dreamtime Tour. Meet the Traditional Custodians of lands belonging to the Dyirribarra and Bagirbarra people of Innisfail region. Experience traditional culture with welcome to Country Ceremony including dance and song, learn about the Dreamtime story of the Cassowary, journey on a guided walk through the Wetlands to learn about bush foods, traditional knowledge of sacred trees, Juwumba, Milbur and Jugurru.
