I can’t express how good this experience was. Michel is a great teacher and cooker and he taught us how to make churros easily while having lots of fun and sharing a great chat. I think the best part of this experience is that I’ll be able to go back home and make some homemade churros for my friends and family and share with them a little bit of Spain. It was very enjoyable to cook the churros while having a drink and talking about Spanish culture and cuisine. I strongly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Madrid.

I went on my own to Madrid with the sole idea of learning more about Spanish food. I booked in Michel's churro's class with no expectations as I hardly had good experiences. I was really surprised to find him a kind and gentle host. He was very empathic (I am a senior), and he gave us a fun experience full of Spanish anecdotes, drinks, a nice chat and finally! we made delicious churros con chocolate. I learnt!! I have already reproduced his recipe at home and my friends loved it!! I very much recommend Michel's experience because he knows what he is doing.

We had a great time learning to make Churros and Chocolate with Michal! He did a wonderful job explaining the process of making the dough, getting the oil just right for frying and even shared his secret ingredients for the best chocolate dipping sauce. The pace was great for us, as novice bakers, and we didn’t feel rushed. 10/10 would definitely recommend taking the class!

Greeted with a smile in a historic square. While walking to the hosts apartment we learned a bit about his love for cooking Churros using his grandmothers recipe. In the kitchen there were appetizers and a glass of wine waiting for our arrival. The recipe is simple, but there are unique cooking tips and tricks to perfect the process of creating the best homemade churros and chocolates at home. Our host allowed us to measure, weigh, mix, squeeze out (a tricky process) and fry our churros (another tricky process) until there were plenty of golden brown crunchy tasty churros on a platter. We ate churros, dipped in the fresh chocolate while enjoying our conversation and glass of wine. We even had a few churros to take with us for a snack later that day. If you're looking for a small quaint experience in Madrid, this one should be on your list!
