Luis was a great tour guide. Being a bilingual guide helped us so much that we used him on three seperate days. We visited Comuna 13, Guatape and Arvi park. As part of those days we went to visit a Pablo Escabar memorial to the victims, played tejo, visited several neighbourhoods, rode the metro and cable cars and ate at some of the restaurants recommended by Luis. Luis also transported us to the airport for a very early flight departure. As a resident of Medellin he was very knowledgable about the history of the city, both good and bad. Made our decision to return to Medellin very easy. Great guide, but more importantly a great guy. Thanks for the memories.

Luis and his team were AMAZING in every sense of the word!! We (party of six) toured El Peñol, Guatape, Comuna 13, El Poblado, etc. Luis went above and beyond to ensure we understood the relevant history, interesting facts, and significance of each location. From the moment he picked us up at the airport, Luis was extremely knowledgeable, respectful, and spoke clearly in English and Spanish. He was always on time; the vehicles were clean and comfortable; and he recommended (and made pit spots at) traditional locations where we ate and drank delicious Colombian cuisine with the locals. And though we felt very safe in Medellin, it was comforting to have him walk around with us in La Comuna 13 (it appeared La Comuna residents really liked Luis!). I highly recommend booking your tours with Luis if you want to tour the city with a local who is knowledgeable, considerate and willing to go above and beyond to provide an unforgettable experience.
