Sameer is a youthful and optimistic guide offering a wonderful perspective on life in Colombo. He navigates you through Pettah to give a sense of the coffee, tea, spices, rice, fruits and vegetables offered. His knowledge of the religions too and his tour of the temples is very welcome!

Sameer is a *fantastic* and passionate guide to the streets and alleys of Pettah, Colombo's old market area. He is authentic and enjoys sharing his own neighborhood with the world. I've been out with him and sent a half dozen other people with him. Everyone comes back seeing new things, and with a great appreciation for the history of Colombo and its people.

Sameer is an engaging and knowledgeable guide. I have lived in Colombo for three months and this was my first foray into the Pettah district with my eight year old daughter. She didn’t ask for my phone for the entire four hours which is testament to the experience! Discovered the best coffee I’ve had here and some of the best local food too. My daughter’s favourite part was stone the Hindu temple. Highly recommend.

Such a fun way to experience the Pettah area of Colombo, Sameer’s home turf. This is the ‘real’ Colombo, full of life and spice! It’s colourful and chaotic and very different to a ‘standard’ city tour. Sameer brings it all to life with humour, introducing us to his friends, favourite street food and secret spots that only a local would know. Well worth doing, don’t hesitate.
