The amount of fun we had was very unexpected but very welcomed! The staff are helpful and the interactive rooms are great for all ages. We made colorful memories as we laughed and explored! Do yourself a favor and GO!

On a super busy holiday Saturday our family group of 15 converged on Color Factory NYC with prepaid Come Together in Color Anytime Bundle tickets. A good savings and such a fun time was had by all. This was my 3rd time visiting, a 2nd time for several in our group, and a 1st for many others, especially the little ones. Several of the installations were completely new, some changed just enough to feel fresh, and some old favorites were still dependably intact. I especially want to commend the staff whom, on such a busy day, remained patient, kind, warm, and informed. In particular, I want to mention Cameron, a sales manager in the retail store who handled my refund for a prepaid item they’d run out of stock with. His kindness and patience and willingness to accommodate a discount on a separate purchase was just the icing on an already sweet treat of a day.

We enjoyed the many color activities, including the confetti room with confetti coming down from the ceiling and confetti on the floor to throw. The silent disco allows each person to adjust the music level to their comfort level, especially helpful for ones with auditory challenges. And dance dance dance. Exploring the color changes to famous NYC sites on the walls was a visual treat. The color challenges with color puns were great for our adults and teens. We loved the all white ball play pit with slide, not wheel chair accessible. So many explorations with color. Everything wheel chair accessible inc bathrooms except for play pit.

This is a unique way to spend a delightful hour or two. The place is filled with substantial photo opportunities. It is perfect for families and kids, but it can also be a fun place for a date. There is something interesting to see or do in each room. The route flows in one direction. Once you finish a room you can’t return to it. They give you a QR code to scan at the many photo stations. All the photos are sent to your email for free (so you can take as many photos as you wish). Intermixed within the exhibits are stations with sweet treats (ranging from jelly bellies, colorful fortune cookies, taffy, and gelato). Some rooms are more interesting than others. They have a room with colorful confetti which is fun for photos. They also have a silent disco room. There is a room with marvelous multilayer artwork which reveals different New York scenes under different colored lights. The last room consists of a large ball pit with a slide. They also give guests the choice of a little souvenir to take home (and a coupon for the gift shop). They don’t sell admission tickets there so you will need to purchase them ahead online. Tickets can be a little pricey ($39 on weekends). Tickets are less expensive on weekdays. Also they occasionally advertise online discount codes for 15 percent off. They do have a coat check available which is convenient.
