    Matt is a fantastic storyteller and really lets the walk and the tastings unfold at its own pace. Learning the history of the region was fascinating and gave us a new appreciation for Cape Town’s path to becoming a wine destination. The walk was easy, though wear shoes you don’t mind getting a little dirty as you are traveling through fields (& mud if it’s been raining). There was no push to buy wines which was appreciated although we did at one stop. We chose to do a tour in the Constantia region vs the better known Stollenbosch/Franhoek as it was closer to where we stayed in GreenPoint and didn’t require a full day as we had limited time.

    What an amazing day! Good stories, great weather, world class wine and breath taking views. Thanks Matt. Will recommend to anyone wanting to learn something about the history of wine in Cape Town all while enjoying the beauty of nature.

    Matthew was a great guide. Fabulous historical stories that we all found exceptional. Good snacks on our walk plus bubbly & fantastic wine tasting, finishing with a great lunch. Would definitely do this again. Julie.

    We chose a beautiful sunny day for our wine walk with Matt. We were four girl friends and Matt was very patient with us😄. The day went so fast , we loved the stories Matt told us about the people from the 15th century until now , how Constantia was known all over the world through a delicious sweet wine , and the different characters whom made Constantia what it is now. Thank you Matt , our group went home extremely happy ( we did not abuse of the wine though) it was just a all around great experience I highly recommend

    This was an awesome experience. The walk was so beautiful and not too strenuous. Matt is a great tour guide and is so knowledgeable about the region and its history. I learnt so much and I would definitely recommend to a friend. The only thing I suggest is to eat beforehand as the lunch is more of a cheese board and not a proper lunch. Other than that it was a terrific experience.
