First they set us up on catching some bait and let me operate the boat while they threw a cast net for some sardines. Then we got to go catch bigger bait with the sardines, caught some yellowtail and some crockers(used the croakers for bait). Then we went and caught some jack creval and a barracuda. We also snorkeled and I was able to get a lobster. They cooked us some great lunch with the barracuda, lobster, and the jack. They were great company as well and I would definitely recommend them👍

Medz and Jeffry were the best guides on this private tour. We caught a lot of fish. The best snorkeling I’ve ever done, and one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The private island was beautiful and relaxing.
Worth every penny. Almost worth coming to Belize just for this tour.

They picked us up right from the doc in front of where we stayed. This company is run by a local family and the uncle is the boat captain, and his nephew was the tour guide. My Fiancé and I had a BLAST! Fishing was great. The moment the sinker hit the bottom you'd get a hit and reel up a snapper. Neither one of us love fishing because typically there is just lots of sitting and waiting, but not this time.
Then we went to the reef and snorkeled. It was lovely. Also, our guide pointed out conch shells on the sea floor. I dove to get them, and we brought them to the boat. Finally, we went to a tiny, private island and there were hammocks and such to relax in. Our captain removed the conchs from their shell and cleaned them and then our guide made fresh conch ceviche. It was AMAZING! We waded out from the island and did some more snorkeling while They cooked up the fish and veggies. Lunch was fresh and superb, and we both loved it. Also, they supplied rum punch! 😉
It was a superb outing. When we got home, we were pleasantly tired and lazed about in the pool for the rest of the afternoon.

Get To Know Belize is the real deal! Our golf cart was delivered on time, in new condition, no issues and easily one of the nicest carts in the village. Our Cook Your Catch tour was our family's favorite activity (we did over 10 different adventures) during our 2 weeks in Belize. Medz and Theo were professional, fun, highly skilled and had the best vibe! We caught fish, conch, lobster, snorkeled and had a truly incredible lunch cooked by them. I wish we would have had an opportunity to get out with them again. We also did the waterfall swim and shuttle back to Belize City for our flight out with Greg. He was true to the company reputation being fun, flexible (we randomly stopped for ice cream) and on time for everything. Josie and the staff online respond quickly and make setting anything up easy. Highly recommend and can't wait until we get to come back to hang out with them again.

My family did this tour and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience! We started the morning rough as our children (ages 6 and 9) were not interested in going on the tour. However we warned the guides (Medz and Jeff) and they made our kids feel comfortable. We first went to catch bait. Then we fished with the bait. Medz was a great teacher and had a true passion for the craft. He knew where to get the fish and even taught my 6 year old daughter how to catch 7 fish. Next we snorkeled - Jeff knew how to teach my kids and husband (who was worried about snorkeling in the ocean). We ultimately had an experience of a lifetime snorkeling!!! It felt like we were inside of an aquarium. Finally we went to a private island where they cooked one of the best meals we had in Belize!!! Thanks Medz and Jeff! You made us feel like family! We won’t forget this.
