    It was amazing! I got the opportunity to follow a private creative workshop to make my own jewelry with Maria, with this ancient/unique technique. Together we came up with the design. Maria thinks along with your ideas and preferences for material and color. I finally chose a necklace. Maria gives clear step-by-step explanations on how to make the jewelry and lets you do a lot yourself. I thought it was fantastic to learn and a fun activity. I recommend it to everyone and would definitely participate again! Now I can shine with this beautiful jewelry. Thank you Maria!

    The workshop with Maria was a super successful evening. Mary was always helpful and helped us create our jewelry designs. There were enough drinks as well as snacks provided.

    Have you visited the Uffizi and noticed the fine gold mesh that Eleonora di Toledo, the Duchess of Florence, wears across her shoulders in Bronzino's famous portrait? That delicate net is called reticella d'oro. It was crafted using a wire-knitted technique that traces back to the goldsmiths of ancient Greece and Byzantium. In this workshop, I will teach you that same technique. You’ll be guided step-by-step through the intricate process, from design to creation, using silver or gold plated wire and gemstones. By the end of the session, you’ll have a beautiful piece of jewelry to take home that is proudly made by your own hands in Florence, using a technique that once adorned the women of the Renaissance court. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore an unusual jewellery technique.
